Following the 2008 Agm it was decided that the class association membership should be reinstated. It was decided that UK association membership would cost £20 per boat. One membership will be compulsory per boat. This way you can join and sail with any helm or crew as you please.

This will only be enforced at the Nationals, Inlands, National Rankers and Class run training. So dont worry if your not a member before you turn up for an open meeting. We are most concerned with keeping the class as open and accesible as possible.

If you plan on attending International events you will need to also be a member of the International association. We are sorry that we can not combine this system, the International dues are €5.

What do I get for my membership?

Uk run circuit.

Class training which will very likely be subsidised from membership funds.

National and Inland Championships

Class Website and admin.

UK representation on world council.

Dingy Show stand ( sponsored by Ovy boats ) and RYA class association fees, these go on to pay ISAF fees which off course go on to create racing rules etc.

It is worth rembering that all these are done by volunteers giving up there own time. If we find that next year we have many members and an excess of cash we can either reduce the fee or spend more on training or promotional activitys. If you dont agree then please come to the agm which will be held at either the National or Inland championships.

The National fee is administered by Ovington boats, all these funds move into the class account. Accounts can be seen at the agm.

The international fee is administered by the US sailing regatta network and again the funds move into the International class. Accounts can be seen at the World council meeting.
