The lucky 49er class has been invited to a new event. The Fatface night sail is on 5th July, read all about it on Yachts and Yachting. If you have read it then you will know that its restricted entry. Therefore if you want to go you need to fulfill a qualification criteria.

4 places available from the RYA National Ranking series as at 12th May.

5 places from the 49er circuit, we will collate the results from Rutland and Datchet opens. Only one to count, but ties will be decided from the last event so best get to Datchet to secure your spot.

1 Wild card entry who's name is not Dave or Gemma or Simon or Stevie or Ben but is worthy of a place, e mail to suggest you are worthy.

The Results

There are two lists below. The first list is from the Rutland and Datchet 9er opens, the top 5 boats from this list have qualified and places not taken will be past down so please confirm your attendance to Dave Hall asap.

The second list is from the National Ranking list compiled by the RYA which takes its results from the National Ranking circuit. Again places not taken will be passed down, so please let Dave Hall know if you are not going to take your place.

Deadline to let him know is 31st May. After that date any places not taken will be passed down the list.

It would be a good idea to contact Dave if you want to go regardless of your position on the list.

There is one wild card entry, a plymouth based team might well get this spot if they contact Dave in time. Other wise it will get allocated to some one who does want to go who bother's to contact Dave.
